The estate belonged to Noble Gabriel du Sauzey, sieur de la Vènerie, King's Counselor and Lieutenant Particulier of the Baillage of Beaujolais, and was listed as a Hunting lodge in the XVth century.

The current owner, Véronique Proton de la Chapelle has been living there with her family for over 25 years.

The Château de la Vénerie has been carefully renovated. It offers two large bedrooms tastefully decorated with antiques and equipped with modern amenities, enabling our guests to relax in perfect calm and in a unique atmosphere.
